HEART & PARCEL MARKETS

A few times a year, we take our community stall out into local markets across Manchester and beyond.

Our markets are a chance to meet people, share food and stories, build connections and celebrate community. We use our stall to raise awareness of our work supporting communities to learn English through food and cooking, and to talk about the importance of accessible, free English language provision.

Our market stall also provides a valuable real-world opportunity for our learners to practise their English, develop confidence, meet new people and put their language skills into action.

We love using food as a way to explore belonging, migration and identity, and to celebrate the many communities and cultures that make Manchester such a vibrant place to live.
