Jenny is one of our most recent teachers coming on board with us in 2022 when she started attending our English and cooking classes with her family. Recently retired and wanting to try new things as well as support and help others, Jenny has led a couple of our free cooking and ESOL classes for us in Bury and Gorton, and took part in Rochdale Touchstones Dumpling Day event, teaching the public how to make her delicious dumplings! She continues to learn English with us as well as working for us. She is a wise and compassionate person and a valued member of our team. We are so excited to have her leading the night!

Jenny’s generous set menu of four courses is available to view here:

There are two options – meat or vegetarian/vegan and you will be emailed to give your choice not long after you book your tickets.

Language and food are key parts of our project so in between courses you will be treated to a relaxed and fun Cantonese language lesson! Learning a few key phrases from Jenny to practise with friends and diners.

Your ticket not only pays for ALL of these treats above, but you will also be contributing to our ongoing community projects, where we bring people learning English from different communities together by developing ESOL skills through food and cooking.

These series of learner-led fundraising supperclubs are generously supported by the Sam Orton Fund. You can read more about Sam and her fund here: https://heartandparcel.org/2024/11/04/the-sam-orton-fund/

If you have any further questions, please email us at info@heartandparcel.org.

We look forward to dining with you and talking more about what we do!

Best wishes,

The Heart & Parcel team
