Our cook for November is Asmahan cooking Syrian food!

Asmahan is a wonderful and kind doctor, mother of 5, and friend of many. She came on our Open Kitchen project in 2021, working with us to present and teach her food to our learners and to partner organisations. She has carred out catering and run workshops offline and online teaching everything from meatballs to rice pudding! Her delicious and easy to follow recipes are in our second fundraising cookbook, and she is a valued member of our team. We are so honoured and grateful to have her leading the night!

You will receive an email after the purchase of your ticket where you can make your option of meat or veggie main course.
Language and food are key parts of our project so in between courses you will be treated to a relaxed and fun Arabic language lesson! Learning a few key phrases from Asmahan to practise with friends and diners.
Your ticket not only pays for ALL of these treats above, but you will also be contributing to our ongoing community projects, where we bring people learning English from different communities together by developing ESOL skills through food and cooking.
