Join us on Thursday 24th October in Longsight as we host and present the first in our series of Open Kitchens Supperclubs.

Our cook for October is Gashin cooking Kurdish food!

Gashin, originally from Sulaymaniyah, is a mother, wife, amazing cook and one of our top caterers! She came on our Open Kitchen project in 2021, working with us to present and teach her food to our learners and to partner organisations. Her food is always praised as the tastiest, her recipes are in our second fundraising cookbook, and she has worked with Manchester Art Gallery and their cafe to share her delicious Kurdish home-cooked food.

You will receive an email after the purchase of your ticket where you can make your option of meat or veggie main course.

Language and food are key parts of our project so in between courses you will be treated to a relaxed and fun Kurdish language lesson! Learning a few key phrases from Gashin to practise with friends and diners.

Your ticket not only pays for ALL of these treats above, but you will also be contributing to our ongoing community projects, where we bring people learning English from different communities together by developing ESOL skills through food and cooking.
